Veterans Week Activities Return To Factory Merchants Mall

Branson, Missouri is known for its annual Veterans Week Celebration, during which they honor the sacrifices and courage of those who have served for their country.

In years past, the Factory Merchants Mall has been used as a headquarters for Veterans Week activities.  Last year, this was not the case, but for the 2012 Branson Veterans Week the facility will once again be used by the Branson Veterans Task Force as a launching point for many activities and create an area for veterans to gather and reminisce.
The Factory Merchants Mall, known as the Red Rood Mall to locals, provides a free space for the task force to set up a registry, offer free meals to veterans, entertainment and a day room for veterans to relax and catch up with fellow veterans.

The Branson Veterans Task Force is already making preparations for the 2012 Veterans Homecoming Week.  The kick-off show is scheduled for November 5 at 5pm and will be held at the Starlite Theatre.

Veterans week is the best if you want to talk to the vets and see what it was like to be in the wars at the time..

I'm so proud to live in a place where our Veterans are shown the respect they have earned.

Proud to be from a place like Branson! More places need to honor and recognize our military the way this town does.
