Looking for a way to beat the heat this summer?  Head to Moonshine Beach in Branson, Missouri.  Located on the shores of Table Rock Lake, near the north end of Table Rock Lake, Moonshine Beach is an excellent place to enjoy some fun in the sun.

The large, sandy beach is much more spacious than many local swimming spots and is the largest sand beach in southwest Missouri.  Whether on water or land, Moonshine Beach Recreation Area offers visitors countless recreational activities. Picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, boating, fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing are all popular pastimes at the park.  The full service beach has numerous amenities, including picnic tables, food vendors, a boat launching ramp, showers, flush toilets, a large pavilion and a kid’s playground.

By far, the most popular activity is soaking up the sun and cooling off in the refreshing water of Table Rock Lake.    However, for visitors looking to spend some time exploring the shore, the adjacent Dewey Short Visitor Center offers a hiking trail leaving from the grounds.  Table Rock Lakeshore Trail, about 2 miles long, runs from the Dewey Short Visitor Center to the Table Rock State Park Marina. The trail also offers beautiful views of Table Rock Lake.

Moonshine Beach is open from 9am-9pm daily and has a $5 per carload daily usage fee.
